Truly enjoyed this well run family hotel: gorgeous food and really good and welcoming staff. The location was stunning and lovely, right by the beautiful front garden to walk through and admire, and the pond. It also was in all the outside areas.

The location was marvellous, close to eateries and pubs. Everything was good, but a few employees were unattentive. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and all in all the room was spotless.

The 16th-century building has been beautifully restored. My Superior Double Room was immaculate, with a comfortable bed, quality linens, and thoughtful amenities like tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast showcased high-quality food-best scrambled eggs I've ever had. Staff provided excellent service, cute me personally and ensuring I had everything I needed. Breakfast procedures could have been clearer. I wasn't sure whether to be seated or help myself. The dining area lighting felt a bit harsh, which affected the ambiance. Minor noise disturbances from adjacent rooms were noticeable at times. Despite these small issues, my overall enjoyment was significant due to the warm hospitality and excellent food.

Charming atmosphere with excellent dining
The restaurant served delicious food, especially breakfast with freshly baked croissants and a good selection of organic juices. The cozy atmosphere, complemented by the charming historical features. I found the soundproofing between rooms could use some improvement.

Charming atmosphere with friendly staff. The lack of soundproofing between rooms was distracting at times. Perfect spot if you're looking for golf nearby.

Perfect countryside retreat
The double room was super cozy and beautifully styled. The staff were really friendly and made our breakfast to order, delish. Also enjoyed the great dinner options. Only thing was the bar was a bit busy sometimes. Still, loved the vibe!

Spent a night here recently and really loved the comfy bed and cozy seating areas to relax in. The lovely garden and inviting lounge made it a great spot to unwind. Just a little hitch, there were no hooks in the bathroom for towels, but that didn't ruin my stay at all! 😊

The location was gorgeous and perfectly suited for our large family getaway. We loved our stylish room and enjoyed some lovely walks with our dogs around the well-kept gardens. A nearby golf course was great fun for the adults too, just a short drive away.
In my wife's opinion, the bathroom could use some hooks for towels.

We had a lovely stay, especially enjoying the cozy atmosphere and the delicious breakfast, which came out quickly despite the busy morning. Relaxing in the lounge and taking a stroll in the beautiful garden added to our overall comfort. A little sign would’ve helped clarify the breakfast seating, but it didn’t take away from the great experience! 😊
